Looking for family members

Hello,
I am trying to locate contact information for family I have in Japan and I do not know where to look. The last contact we had was about 20 years ago by telephone but I have not been able to find that phone number. I do have an address from a letter that was written in the 1970's that is in English but I do not know if it is still valid.
Here is the name and address:
Mr Teruo, Kaji
19~25 Shiyowamachi
Kokura Kitaku Kitakyushushi
Japan
The reason I am looking for contact information is they are family on my Mom's side, and my Mom recently passed away. Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.
