I was wondering does japan like linkin park?
Are they famous in japan?

Well alot of my j-friends seem to like linkin park , i know one friend who even met them ! As for me, yea there ok, but not the best.
However the worst band in the world, has got to be them loser's with camp masks on that are called "slipknot".
Cant stand them !

It seems Linkin Park would be kind of popular in Japan since Mike Shinoda is half Japanese. In fact, a fan site that I saw the other day was in Japanese, so I'm sure they must be kind of popular among some people anyway.

Well i like most of the tracks off the re-animation album their really good.

But you can't beat the original.

Crawling, paper cut, My december is my favorite , Faint is sweet but the best one (If you wanna just chill out) is The Re-animatiion of My december.

Heh, I love Linkin Park. And they're really good in concert too, which gives them major props from me.

I think they're pretty popular in Japan, I watched the DVD and on it they're in Japan touring, doing autograph signings, and there is one part where they're all on a train and there is a mob of Japanese girls outside of it trying to take pictures.

So yeah, they must be fairly well known there.

Meteora is definitely a good LP, but a am still partial to Hybrid Theory. My buddies and me used to always shread One Step Closer and Papercut at Karaoke. I used to be a Slipknot fan, but Iowa got kinda weak. However, their new single is kinda dope, but I have heard anything else off the album.

linkin's cool, i've only listened to two songs of theirs though, in the end and numb.

i know that they're really popular in korea, since i saw them doing a show in korea once and heck, there was a long line waiting for autographs.

Yeah, I haven't seen the "Breaking the Habit" video myself, but I heard it's pretty awesome. Apparently, the animator of Linkin Park's new video was also the animator for Kill Bill, so that's pretty cool.

You should watch the Breaking the Habit music video its pretty good.

What about Deftones both Chino and Chi have Japanese blood? I think American Metal and Metal in general is pretty popular in Japan, just look at the tours of most bands they always go there even the less popular ones like black metal groups, even Sikth and Pleymo went there (don't get me wrong I love Sikth but I can't stand Pleymo if anyone knows who they are). However, concerning LP there music is okay but I really don't like it, it's way too "soft", I won't use the "it's too commercial argument" I ignore people who say that...
