Hi guys,
In the following quote かける is used in saying to call out.
I've also seen it to say 電話をかける to call (a phone), 時間をかける (to take time) and 旗をかける to hoist a flag ...etc.
I was wondering if there are limits on what nouns can be put before it?
Can I say スイッチをかける turn on a switch?
How versatile can kakeru be?
Thanks
