Lays Chips/Crisps

I just hate it when the package looks the same then you get home from the grocery store only to find that you bought "healthy" baked Lay's potato "crisps". In the USA you can't call dehydrated potatoes chips, only slices of fried potato. I didn't see the word "baked", and I honestly saw the word crisp as chip! They are totally disgusting. You could never think these even taste remotely like a real potato chip. Yuck!:p

We bought some baked whatevers once. Never again! We never buy potato chips for the house. If we did, it would probably be one of the thicker varieties..."kettle made" or something like that. While Ron is visiting his sister & brother-in-law in Florida, I bought a bag of Goya plaintain chips (platanitos). Not everybody would like them, but I do.

They are so bad my dogs won't eat them. They crinkle up there noses and won't even chance a lick! I love the kettle cooked chips. They are great. I had some that were teriyaki flavor, boy those were out of this world. The plantain chips, I haven't tried. I'll have to take a look and see if I can find them here....Thanks!
