Wondering if it would be worth shelling out the big bucks to install a new motherboard and chip for just day to day

how much are you willing to spend?
fanless systems are hard to come by, and even watercooling uses fans to cool the radiator, unless you pick up zalmans new solution...
or you could just get this

they already make them really cheap, check out the emachines laptops, theyre around 1500. and emachines used to be crap, but now, they have new management, and theyre really good...

I for awhile have been interested in the Liebermann Inc. Laptops, maybe I will check out emachines. ever seen the 1tb laptops? at go-l.com? :REAM::

Yeah, emachines is more in the price range of me.. Also there has been many speculation of Go-L being a fake.
