Kyoto Dialect Spoken By Older People.

Friend and I chatting about some of the different dialects we've heard in Japan.

A quick question about 京言葉 Kyoto-ben no machikata kotoba (町方言葉) spoken by older residents. Is the correct phasing of "It was delicious" said as 美味しおしたわ! (Oishi oshita wa!) To my failing memory I think they drop the extra i on the adjectives but can't remember clearly.

Yes, your memory is correct. This おした is the past form of おす, which is the polite form of ある.
e.g.
入口はあそこにおす。（＝入口はあそこにあります。）

Speaking strictly from the viewpoint of grammar, おいし is not 'dropping "i" of おいしい', but it's not wrong as a result.
e.g.
楽しいです --> 楽しおす
昨日は暑おしたなあ（＝昨日は暑かったですね）

Incidentally, どす is attached to stem of na-adjectives and nouns. This どす is the contraction of でおす.
e.g.
学生です --> 学生どす
ほんにきれいどしたえ（＝ほんとにきれいでしたよ）
