Credit crunch triggered by US subprime mess has been affecting almost all countries of the world, but one of the most affected in Asia is likely South Korea.

In addition to the falling stock market, Korean won has conitnued to fall significantly as foreign investors are pulling out of South Korea. Korean won exchange rate was KW780-800 /USD in the summer of 2007, but it is now KW1,300/USD at the end of last week.

It is likely that South Korea will give up soon again, the same as their economy collapsed in 1997. And in order to avoid the second financial collapse, Korea seeks helps from Japan and China.......

WHY don't they ask IMF for help again? instead of asking their enemy - Japan.

Korean economy sounds threatened as Korean media has increasingly been desperate for spreading "propaganda".

It will fall on deaf ears in Beijing as Chinese people finally became wary of S Koreans ( 属国朝鮮民族 ).So,we should add PRC ( vice versa ) on the enemy list as Japan

Financial crisis of South Korea is obviously approaching - second time failure for the past ten years - as Japan and China agree to neglect.

I didn't even know South Korea had a financial crisis not so long ago.
What's the 'IMF' by the way?

South Korean economy has increasingly been at stake. If they fall into the hands of IMF this year, South Korea would mark the World Record - Twice per 10 years.

It was very good for Japan to raise Taikeshima territorial issue a few month ago. If they have "KOrean Pride", they cannot ask Japan for help.

Iceland, Ukrina, Hungary, South Korea..... UK/Australia must be following those countries.

Too bad many Koreans are Christians. You speak in a very pragmatic way as if everything were done by men (?)
