I have been stalking this forum for about a week now, and I must say I'm quite impressed with the information I have found here, which is prompted me to join. My name is Claudia and in in December of last year I became very intrigued in Japanese culture and their beautiful language, so I bought the books Japanese Demystified: A Self-Teaching Guide and Japanese Hiragana & Katakana for Beginners: First Steps to Mastering the Japanese Writing System, so far they have worked for me immensely. And I received all three volumes of James W. Heisig's Remembering the Kanji from a friend for Christmas, I haven't started on those yet, although I've seen some negative comments about them.
By joining this site I hope to have my horizons broadened and learn many new things.
