I'm sorry, I'm so wretched at introductions.
My name is koneko (um, not), and I joined this site to expand the amount of Japanese I know. Original, right? Ever since watching Sailor Moon on the television in the afternoon as a child I have been captivated by Japan, and for a very long time I have wanted to learn the language.
Recently, I have become more into the Japanese music scene than their animation, and there are no dubs in music. (obviously! XD) It would be great if I could translate my own lyrics one day. Or actually speak to any of the members at a meet and greet or signing. (even though I might be too embarrassed to open my mouth anyway. Darn shyness...)
My mother has promised me that if I am given a scholarship, she will seriously consider taking me to Japan. So I am working twofold to ensure that I have adequate grades for the next two years, and the adequate language skills!
