Unhasty, meditative, almost dismal... and very interesting story. Collection of allegories about human beings. Stories about our oddities, greatness, wisdom and stupidity; world through the traveller`s eyes.
"We are only human" - will it always seem like a reasonable justification of all our wrongs?
To my opinion this anime goes in the same row with following
"Haibane Renmei" - story of everlasting questions "where did we come from?"
"why did we come for", "where do we go?" You can answer them only when your heart is like a full cup, when you trust the others and don`t doubt yourself
"Whispers of the heart" - simple and very beautiful story about maturing and finding your own (and very special) way in the life
"Hoshi no Koe" - (is in a list of anime that made me cry) not to tell about, picture worth of thousands words
"Kokoro library" - crystall clear and infinitly kind story which brings back the best childhood memories
