Hi :D I'm about to graduate from my current study soon. And now I'm thinking of getting a Master's Degree in Japan. I'll be studying language for a year in Kyoto first and apply from there and see how it goes. I'm thinking of going to Keio's Media Design since they offer a degree in English as well. So, question is: How hard is it to get accepted in KMD? And since I mostly self-taught designs (photoshops, flash, etc) do you think it will be a problem? Last, are there any scholarship where you could apply in Japan? Thankies :)

I don't think it's that difficult if your English is proficient and have the necessary related bachelor degree and at least a bit of work experience.
I know of two Singaporeans that went in and graduated already under the global 30 program I think.
However my cousin is still stuck with their phd program for more than 3 years because they emphasise on plan + execution.
You can try MEXT, good luck!

Thanks for the reply :D Well, guess that could be a bit of problem since my Bachelor degree is not related to anything lol. Btw, MEXT scholarships needs work experiences for the master's degree don't they?

I'm not sure, it depends on your country's decision makers?
Or you can try to email KMD to ask about it, maybe your bachelor could be somehow useful?

Those that I know who went into masters in media or graphics that got mext have a few years of working experience, but this doesn't represent everyone. Maybe you can ask in the MEXT thread here ^^
