Kagrra

I've heard acrylic paints stay well on fabric. I've never tried them, but I've heard that they don't crack when they're washed like fabric paint do. It'll be tedious, but you won't need to pay as much for patterned fabric and you can focus more on the details because the construction will not be as difficult (lighter colours are easier to manage as well as the fabric you would use being very light weight). I think that you might have to water it down to get the right texture and colour consistency. Test it on a scrap of fabric first. I wouldn't want you making a mistake in the composition of paint on the actual yukata.

If you're going with a wig, there are several sites that have good information on them. I know Cosplay.com has a forum for wigs. They usually have some pretty good advice. Amphigory and CosWorx are also reputable providers of wigs (Amphigory will most likely have a better selection for the colour and style, I've found, but try both).

hideto: Thank you. Though, maybe I was unclear when explaining my cosplay? I was originally going to do a kimono cosplay of Shin, but lack of time and money made me go with something for which I can get most of the clothing at a thrift store, Nao's bright orange outfit. I apologize if I confused you.

if i can find this person i met as the con last year's details i might ask her though, because her wigs were really good and she makes them to pictures, so... i wouldn't have to style it or anything... but failing that those sites will definatly come in handy! ^.^

I've heard all sorts of stories about the shipping on those sites, but most of the people commenting were American so I'm not sure what the shipping time would be to get the wig to England. I'm glad I can use my real hair for Nao (all I need to do is to straighten and dye it). I like wigs, but they're annoying to wear for long periods of time. Good luck getting her to do it. People like that are crazy busy it seems.

lol, yeah.... there is a stor here i can always go to as a last resort i suppose... but i can't use my hair because it needs to be blonde for this other coz... lol, i wound't have ny hair after if i did do my natural hair ^^;

That way you could save on shipping and tell if the wig is the quality you really want so it seems better to me, but it all depends on what you want.
I have to finish the Nao and the Toshiya ones by the end of March just working between school, homework, friends, and (eventually) a job. :mad: It's going to be crazy. Then I get to start on Gardenia Klaha. 😭 The trim is going to kill me.

But, back on topic. 😌 I ordered the new cd. I can't wait until I hear it. *refuses to hear the samples* I've heard both Sakebi and Utakata and that will, hopefully, tide me over until it arrives. *Waits at the front door with a huge book and San on repeat*

ooooh, I just today got the new album on my player, but I haven't listened to it yet... when I walk home from work I can hear 2 or 3 of the songs... *impatient* :D
 
Ooh, now I really feel silly for not recognizing him. 😌 I could see if I can get them, but it wouldn't be for a few weeks since I'm not at home (or on my computer).

I know mine won't come until March. Hopefully not on my birthday, that would mean waiting too long (it's at the end of March)!

Yumiko Okahawa - you can either host the photos on a website like photobucket, and there's another way, but I don't know it. Photobucket gives you an img tag so you can copy/paste into the text and it'll show up as an image when you post.

Kinsao - Lucky you. I'm jealous but still tell us how it is.

yay Kagrra I only have 3 of their songs because I couldn't find ANY of their music but yay them anyway! I read one of their interviews it was funny. I love their song "Satsuki", I light candles, listen to the song and go to sleep. Ahhh Kagrra the dream angels.

Oooh, I love the new album! 👍 Kinda similarish to San, but actually I like it better. I can remember my fave songs but not the titles of them! XD >.< one beginning with an H, and the other 'something no Ito' XD

A friend of mine went to a concert this saturday, as I told you before... She's in Yokohama right now, and when she bought Shizuku last week, she got a ticket for a mini live~ they played exactly five songs from Shizuku and she told me, it was pretty nice. Isshi was fun as always,... Shin was jumping around and playing the Koto~ Naoran was unusual quiet and kind of shy~ Izumi smiled a lot and Akiya was as usual quiet, but pretty... 🙂
Yeah~ I was so jealous of her ;_;
I'd like to see them live, too :(
 
So I got to hear the new album (Thanks Saishu, I hate you by the way).

And like it a lot. However, not sure about the abrupt endings some of the songs seemed to have. I was kind of expecting more to it and then poof, next track started. Oh well, once I get to listen to it more I see if it still throws me off.

i got the new album yesterday and... 👍 yay! it's fantastic ^^ I heard it the whole day and I have to say, my favorite is kaze and i like naos bassplaying in hakai and sadame no ito... there's no song I really don't like~ 😊

and yes, the collom in SHOXX mag was originally Isshi's place, but then Nao took over... i haven't read any in a while, but i know when he started out he wrote a lot about his childhood with his brother, it was very sweet~

did anyone see them in the latest SHOXX mag? it was a really nice photoshoot... but the last one they did before that was quite bad actually... i didn't like the litting at all (dollporn was righ >.< ) but the ones in cure, as she said, were a lot better ^.^... i'll have to pester her of Pjusk to post the scans some time...

Furan: 😊 no, she isn't a member of AUGA~ she just bought Shizuku and got a ticket, because she did that!~ as she told me, there were two lives and she got a ticket for the second one. And Isshi asked, who were there for the second time that day. More than 70% were there for the second time~
*sob* I was so jealous, because there were only... 150 people and this mini live was in Tokyo~ not many fans there... I think Oo" :(

I went to the Gazette live in Bonn last year a few days after my birthday~ it was pretty nice and i liked them a lot~ since that I'm a fangirly XD ^^ And there are rumors they'll come to germany this year again, so I hope for kagrra, or any PS Music band, too ><" but especially for kagrra,!

So~ do they still plan to give a live on March 31th in the U.S.? Or is that just any rumor?

i didn't even know they were coming over and then someone said that they were and iwas like O.O WHAT!?! but i couldn't afford it and i couldn't miss the school... *sigh* BUT I WILL SEE THEM LIVE!

the problem with Kagrra, is that they're PSCs headline band really... (Miyavi isn't a band XD) and so they're very... um... protective?
i don't know, i'm just speculating here XD but i know someone said that their were some people trying to get Kagrra, over for a con in aAmerica but PSC sid they sould only go it they were garanteed a 2000 person audience... and then venue only helod something like 2500, and there as no WAY all the conners would be into Jrock, nevermind Kagrra,....
i think the reason why Gazette came over was because they're a heavey band... and quite strongly western influenced... so i suppose PSC knew they could make money outta it easily after they'd seen how well the other bands did...

i haven't updated on my Kagrra, knowledge in a while.... so... i couldn't say... if you're on lj i surgest checking the Kagrra, com.... they're usually pretty good for updates ands stuff ^.^
 
Yeah~ you're right... Gazette is different to Kagrra,, very different ;_;
But... the Gazette live I went to was also a small one. They gave two. One on July 29th and one on 30th. I went to the second one and... as other fans told me later, there were 500 people at the first one and only 200 at the second.... so... Why do they let Gazette play over sea infront of such a small audience and want Kagrra, to get an audience of 2000 people? It's unrealistic~ :(
and unfair. As you maybe know, gaze played their concerts at the AnimagiC (it's the biggest Animeconvention of Germany) .. and this year is another J-Rock-Act planed~ But i don't think it's going to be Kagrra,... ;_; It's different now, there are more people who wants to visit than last year. At that time they also gave the chance for a Handshake with gazette~ I can't imagine that this will work again... with a band which is as popular as Kagrra, is... (If you compare to Gazettes Popularity at that time...)
So I just think I'm going to see wizard~ they didn't say who is going to be J-Rock-Act this year already...

i don't really know any of the details on the Kagrra, thing...
i heard some people saying the guys at PSC were a bit arrogent really, and then someone else told me that so... i'm just speculating but... still ^^;

hmm... i couldn't help you on that... they started that rull well after i'd joined so.. ^^;
