hey all, new here.. just wondering if anyone has heard Road of Major, Nicotine or Asian Kung-Fu Generation, id mention 175R, but i've seen a few posts about that, well just wondering, if not, they are good, good bands

I like Nicotine a lot. They did interesting covers of "Basketcase" from Greenday and Britney's "Hit me baby, one more time". But their own work is very well worth checking out.

Asian Kung-Fu Generation haven't been around that long yet. I believe they had their debut last year. Their music is great, but their vocalist sounds a bit too friendly (boy-band'ish).

Road of Major is very very popular in Japan. The band hasn't had that many releases yet, but i believe that all of them hit the #1 spot in the Oricon Charts. Musically i think they're not that interesting. They sound very indies, which is probably connected with their bandname.

heh, yea i suppose you can get that, also Anchang's solo release, The Maintenance, is damn good.. but im sure if you like it, you'd know of it, HY are ok too, little bit different... oh FLOW, not sure if anyone would have heard of them, well that had a song "Okuru Kotoba", its a gradutation song, but if you haven't heard them, give em a listen, well worth it

oh yea, Hawaiian6! awesome bad... defintely check them out..!!

"Okuru kotoba" is actually a cover of a song from 1980 by the group Kaientai... but FLOW did a nice ska-style rendition of it!
