JREF Roadmap

Dear Members,

in the light of the following announcement I would just like to inform you in the briefest fashion of what will happen here at JREF in the near future.

1. Upgrade to vB4

We will upgrade the forum to its latest version within the next few weeks (depending on release dates) and rebuild JREF around the content management system that comes as an integral part of vBulletin 4.

2. Rebuild content sections

Once the upgrade is accomplished we will start to rebuild site content, including site sections such as Society & Culture, Language, History, Practical, Travelling, etc. We will also rely on user submissions, as the new CMS facilitates content publishing, so we do look forward to your contributions.

3. Not related to the above-mentionned announcement, Dutch Baka has decided to rejoin JREF as Admin. I hereby welcome him back in the name of the forum team!

We do look forward to your feedback, ideas and suggestions and thank you for your continued support! More news to follow soon.

Welcome back, Dutch Baka. The only thing I ask is that quick reply have a WYSWIG editor, so when I hit go advanced the formatting isn't completely lost.

I haven't posted and read a lot on the forum for a while (although I do check it so now and then), so first of all I will start posting more and participate in threads, I will try to get to know the members who have came here during my absence, and after that I will be able to moderate better.

How does this affect the stickies in such places at the Practical section?

I'll unstick them until all categories are rebuilt.

I think it's good idea for this develop this site JREF.
