Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew about what it takes for a Japanese citizen to work in the United States. How difficult is it for them to obtain a visa etc.?

No more difficult than other "friendly" nations. And easier than nations with a large migrant community. If they are professionals with a corporation sponsoring them it's pretty much routine.

Getting a wirking Visa in the US is expensive and time consuming. But if you can find a company in the US to sponsor the visa it shouldn't be much trouble for you.(their legal team will handle mist if the work, you just have to fill out the personal info)
