Hey everyone.

So I'm making the leap to spend a year, possibly two, in Japan to learn and study the language. I'm a complete beginner, and one day while doing a search this language school in Kyoto popped up.

HOME - Japanese Language School in Kyoto | NIHONGO CENTER : 窶愿コ窶怒ナ津ェニ短ニ停?愴耽ツー

I'm curious if anyone has heard anything about it or experienced it, or could recommend a similar one. I watched their videos and it seems pretty legit, although I'm still trying to wrap my head around how they can teach you Japanese with no translation needed... as in, the classes are all in Japanese, and they start you off at the very beginning. As far as I have seen with my own research, they appear to have a good track record of having foregin students passing the JLPT 2 and even 1 level, and they have been around for 30 years now.

Either way, I'm curious if anyone has has heard anything about this school or perhaps even post up some comparable language schools.

I've never heard of the school, but it's right down Karasuma St. from where I used to live, and not too far from where my friends and I would hang out on Kamo River sometimes. I can't recommend the school (because I know nothing of it), but I highly recommend Kyoto. I loved it there.
