Japanese foreign minister says Japan could build a nuclear bomb, but won't for now...

an alarmist's defensive reflex, perhaps? Just to let North Korea they aren't the only "advanced" nation in the region? I think it's a blunder, personally; as the only nation to be attacked with nuclear weapons, vowing to never even consider possessing them is the biggest statement they could make.

This has been going on for a while, of course they CAN build a nuke, it's JAPAN! but Abe san said that he doesn't want any discussion about it. But some stupid morons do want to talk about it... I would say fire their bloody asses! (They haven't been to Hiroshima????)

This sure is a political blunder. I hope this foreign minisiter will be ignored so that it doesn't start some arms race in the region..
