At the college level, ijime shouldn't be a problem. People who do student exchange during high school might be a problem (but I don't know).

If you are a foreigner living with your family in Japan and going to a Public Japanese Elementary/Middle/High school, you will likely suffer from ijime.

But they are often afraid of foreigners because we might ijime back
So mainly ijime is Japanese students bullying other Japanese students.

Whoa...huh? Bullying what? I want to place a request for more detail!!!

On another note, I told you guys that I would keep you posted so here you are:
I'm going to go to school in Canada and then try for a student exchange program to Japan. This will occur unless I end up extremely lucky and T.U. See something in me that I am not aware of. So how anyway... back to this Ijime thing...
