that I say unto you all,
the elementary school at which I work has finally bought and is installing air conditioning!
Now this may not be a big thing to you with heating/air conditioning systems, where your summers are spent running from your air conditioned houses, to your air conditioned cars, to the air conditioned stores, but in Japan, where many buildings lack integrated systems, summers and winters can be a severe test of will. Most t-shirst don't escape without pitstains in a year or two...
If you hate sweat, don't come to Japan in the summer - you will die.
It was 30 degrees C in classrooms yesterday. For those of you in who still use F (yes, I am looking at you Americans), 30 C = damn hot.
I know no one here will be able to share in my air conditioned joy, but now I can post on JREF and not have to catch the sweat before it ruins my keyboard.
