Is this phrase good...?

私は死ぬのか

It's this a good phrase for "Am I going to die?"
Or is this like "I'm dying?"
Or do you say this otherwise?

There's no real meaningful difference between those two sentences and the same Japanese sentence will work for either one.

Well, I lately bought the complete collection of the manga Death note (the Japanese version).
More for to see different kind of phrases and yeah for reading (for later when I can read fluently).

And I saw the phrase 僕は死ぬのか。And I just wanted to know for sure the meaning of the phrase and different kind of ways to say it. xD
