Hi, I'm new here. I'm looking for people interested in shodo. I'm a beginner but I like it

書道, shodou is calligraphy. I haven't dabbled much, but I know a lot of certified calligraphers.

I have a special set for practicing with, along with the paper and brushes and everything...it is an heirloom that has been passed down, but I have yet to begin.

I was a horrible student in shodo class at school. One of my friends is really good at it and she writes real good nengajo (New Years card) with her own calligraphy every year. They are really cool.
