I just want to know that if I write an anime screenplay (in English of course), is there any differences I should know about between writing an anime screenplay and an animation (US) screenplay? I am not sure if in a an anime screenplay if I need to add more details on characteristics or does that depend on the type of film/series the anime is? For example a slapstick comedy anime series may require more description on character's moods, actions and characteristics to then lets say a drama anime?
Below is a link to a 5 page sample document from word (I tried pasting it onto this message but loses all the formatting) on an animation screenplay, would you say this method of writing can be used for anime screenplay or is there more description needed? The document is from an online source, I have not written the document below.
