Is it possible to find English speakers in Tokushima?

me 26 F. just came back from Australia and miss the feeling of speaking in English.

but i'm from tokushima it is SO HARD to find friends cuz normally ppl are just tourists if they speaks english.

i'm not looking for any english lessons, i genuinely looking for someone to hangout.

And since i have a partner, i wanna meet smo not interested me as their preferred sexual orientation

sorry for my any language mistake.

pls put your opinion cuz im alr dying inside somehow.

Have you tried any local hangouts such as Ingrid's? Probably if you tell Ingrid herself what you're looking for, she would have some ideas of people to introduce you to.

Sorry I've never been there, I just found it on the Internet. Other than that I guess I would try looking for some Tokushima oriented groups on Facebook or Reddit.

You can try BB Mex or BB Pizza, I met a nice guy named Norman who is the owner, and he's been in Tokushima for some time so he's pretty plugged into the scene there, and probably knows a fair number of expats.

Also, Tokushima is a hot spot for ohenro as its where the 88 temple hike usually starts, and there have been plenty of foreigners on the trail in recent years. More of an "ichigo, ichie" situation, but I suspect that's plenty if you just missed speaking English.

Hi. I messaged a fellow Brit who I thought was in Tokushima about your situation, but she wasn't. Anyway, in addition to Ingrid's, she mentioned a Facebook group called Tokushima Social Scene. That may be worth a look.
