Is "10th" "Touka" or "Daijuu"?

Lonely Planet phrasebook says 10th is "Touka", but google translate says its "Daijuu", when i put "10th of April 1993" in it comes out as "10-nichi" (though the voice woman says "touka" not "10-nichi" for some reason) which is right? Are they interchangable?

how would "touka" be pronounced? Would "10-nichi" be "juunichi"?

It should be tooka. I have no idea where daijuu came from. I suppose juu-nichi is acceptable, but not the norm.

so what does "daijuu" mean, does it mean "tenth, as no. 10", so how come juu-nichi isnt the norm, is it a really formal way of saying "10th"?

Google confused the "10th" as being an ordinal number rather than a day of the month.

The first kanji is an ordinal prefix

The 10th of a month is とおか[tooka](not とうか[touka], the pronunciations are the same, though.), whereas the 10th in a series is 第十[daijuu], as you guessed.
