I was watching Insomniac last night as always and I was pleasantly suprised that he did a show all the way in Tokyo. I guess it really is true that bottoms up is a universal language. Anyway what I wanted to comment on was something that I saw during the show. Dave went to I think this place called Pleasure Productions. I could be wrong so don't quote me on that. At this place it was like a porn network. I thought the best part was when they went into the editing room. The Japanese editor/producer/manager man said that in Japan they blur out pubic hair as a way of saving face/dignity. Does anyone other than me find this incredibly ironic? I couldn't help laughing at this comment.

This reminds me of when I was in Japan. Me and several friends were in Akihabara and we went to the top floor on of this electronic store. In the back corner there was porn posters everywhere out in the open with a sign that read "Minors under 18 not allowed beyound this point." On these posters the pubic hair wasn't blurred so why does it have to be blurred when its on tv? Also is it true that in J-pornos the pubic hair is blurred as well?
 
Well, it all depends on what country you J-Pr0n comes from. Most Japanese made videos do have the mosaic, as do any type of print including US magazines that are translated into Japanese.

You can buy all region videos that will not have mosaics, they are easy to find.

Why do I know this? Because I had way too many Japanese friends, always trying to introduce me to the more refined parts of Japanese culture.

When I was watching that, I was literally "LMAO" lol even though I know I shouldn't had watched it to the part where they walk into Paradise T.V. , but i'm suprised they had the guy with the crazy inventions, I remember there was a book about that I had read a few years back with the EXACT same inventions :)
 
If they mosiac or blur out pubs. Then wouldn't there be alot of blurring out the upskirt elevator shots.

Anyways. That was my favorite episode so far. I just wish it was an hour longer. Something about the mix of a funny drunken (jew) american in the streets of Japan.

One question: Why was he kicked out of the baseball game, again?
 
I have this tape of a train travelling on a track.. and it goes on and on and on....

the scenary beside the track will pass by but the track remains the same

after 30 min watcing it on TV, I will fall asleep
