In memoriam: Shimura Ken

Sadly, last Sunday the great Japanese comedian Shimura Ken passed away, having succumbed to the novel coronavirus.

Here are a few of his classics you will understand even if you're not fluent in Japanese. Not always politically correct yet hilarious.

Two legends in their day. There was some classic Naked Gun antics. I loved that movie as a kid, and often watched it with my dad.

Shame to have lost him, and to count him amongst the casualties of this pandemic.
