Hello, long since I posted here last time ☝
Anyhow, I've finally stashed away enough cash to take a trip to Japan and now I need some assistance on what to do and to see.
We hope that we can move the scheme around a bit if we feel like jumping of the train somewhere and maybe loose a day or two somewhere else.
So, We are three nerds going so we generally want to see most of the otaku stuff to see in at least Tokyo otherwise we want to look at the historical sites, temples and shrines etc.
Also, I'm wondering how it is with the hostels around Japan. Is it hard to find a hostels last minute?
So far we are planning to see Tokyo, Kyoto , Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima and our current scheme looks like this:
Day 1: Tokyo, landing
Get to the hotel, look around town, eat some sushi. Generally slack day.
Day 2: Tokyo, Nikko Temples and Shrines, tourism
nakano broadway
Day 3: Tokyo, Fish
tsukiji fish market
toranoana main building, neko-maid-cafe stuff tora's cafe
Day 4: Train -> Kyoto
Day 5: Kyoto
Day 6: Kyoto
Day 7: Kyoto
Day 8: Train -> Nara
Day 9: Nara
Day 10: Nara
Day 11: Train -> Osaka
Day 12: Osaka
Day 13: Osaka
Day 14: Train -> Hiroshima
Day 15: Hiroshima
Day 16: Train, Return to Tokyo, slack town and eat some fancy food
Day 17: Tokyo, Shop
ufo catcher, kbooks, animate etc.
Day 18: Tokyo, Akihabara, Maid-café
Day 19: Tokyo, Akihabara / tourism
Day 20: Home Flight.
