I think (1) would be common, but do you ever use (2)?
(1) I'm interested in that movie.
(2) I'm interested at that movie.

Someone says Sentence (2) is from an entrance examination of a college. I can't believe it.
 
Looks like whoever wrote up that exam question was indeed worse at English than the students it was supposed to test.
 
Unfortunately, there are too many low-level colleges here. Our country has no future. A lot of bright students who are motivated to study cannot go to colleges for economical reasons while idiots whose parents have a lot of money can go. (Please correct my sentences if needed)
