IELTS and other tests.

Many of you are studying for an English test such as IELTS and some of you have failed the test and are trying again. It is a very expensive, time consuming and stressful time for you all.

Here are some hints that might help youツ…

1. Avoid using American slang such as gonna, gotta, wanna, kick-***, Yo!, Ratchet, etc.
2. Avoid LOL-speak such as OMG, becoz, u, ur, etc.
3. Avoid Twitter gibberish and Internet Slang. "if u want u cn"
4. Avoid texting abbreviations, always spell the words out in full.
5. Use a British English spellchecker.
6. Capitalisation: using i or I "My friend is arriving soon and I am so excited."

I found this on a page about "Learning English" 'what u pity u r..no one respect u..., so u should respect ur self' this is an example of gibberish.

Remember that the person you are trying to impress is not your friends, but a qualified English teacher.

Hello,
Yes it is spam but not too blatant I hope. Actually, if you were to visit my Facebook page you will see that I provide free lessons to ESL students. It has proved popular with students from Islamic countries such as Iran, Pakistan Afghanistan etc. and I was hoping to attract ESL students from Japan as well. I also use Skype and QQ, and a Blog for archives of lessons and Audiobooks. I derive no income from this and there are no hidden fees or other marketing agenda apart from a few Google Adsense ads on the Blog from which I earn about US five dollars per month.
Why do I do this I hear you ask? Well, my wife of 50 years insists that I am crazy, but as a 74 year old retiree living in Australia I find it rewarding to read the comments and thanks I receive every day from students all over the world, many of whom have no other access to English lessons.
I do hope I can welcome you to my Facebook page one day.
Regards,
Andrew McKean
