I have 6 million Yen worth of Amazon.co.jp gift cards. Where can I sell them?

Hi,

I'm an American with a significant number of Amazon.co.jp gift cards received from Amazon.co.jp's affiliate program used on my popular website. I have roughly 6 million Yen spread across many gift codes, which can be redeemed online. Unfortunately the only items that can be shipped from Amazon.co.jp to my US address are Books and DVD's.

Since I do not live in Japan and have no intention to visit anytime soon, the only alternative I can think of is to sell them to someone online.

If anyone can suggest an alternative route to converting my Amazon.co.jp gift cards to USD, that would be much appreciated.

Does anyone here want to purchase them from me? If so, I can sell them at a steep, steep discount, so you will be able to profit at least $10,000 USD simply by purchasing items, such as Apple products, on Amazon.co.jp and selling them in real life. All codes can be redeemed online.

Ideally I'd like someone who is willing to buy them all. We will do transfers one gift code at a time and I can send first so there's no chance of scamming.

I'm not sure how you can be possibly scammed since I send gift codes first and we do it one-by-one.

If scams were readily transparent then nobody would be fooled by them and they wouldn't be a problem, now would they? And a scammer would be expected to say he sees no way of a scheme being a scam, so unfortunately for you, your assurances don't count for much....even if you are 100 percent perfectly on the level.

How about posting up your name and some of us can contact the district attorney there in Austin and have him check whether you're trying to pull a fast one or not? What is the name of this site where you have somehow amassed six million yen worth of gift codes?

I am not sure, but by accepting gift certificates from him, You may be involved to some illegal activity.

I'm not sure how this is an "Advance Fee Scheme" considering I send the gift code first.

I run a popular website which uses displays Amazon.co.jp affiliate ads for Japanese users.

The deal isn't as good as you think. You would have to go through the process of reselling a high number of items, such as Macbook Pros or iPads. Consider the possibility the time required to do so is not worth my time.

Thomas, just imagine, he want to bring to another country merchandize for $75000, and ... question will he pay custom fees? Sure, that could be more than 30% of total merchandize price. That type of business usually named as gray export. That is illegal in most of countries, and, for example, in usa both parties sender and addressee will be considered as criminals. You may easily get several years in prison in states if You will hide couple thousands of custom fees. And as a citizen of another country involved in such scheme You may became a member of list of persons who prohibited to enter into USA.
