How will the US lowering interest rates help Japan?

Will the banks lower their rates in Japan.

Not on your life! Japanese rates are already below 1%. America's lowering interest rates will not help Japan one iota other than to maybe make the US dollar the new carry trade currency in the future musch as the Japanese yen has been. It may well hurt Japan as Japan buys a major portion of US T-Bills to keep America afloat and if interest rates sink lower why should they continue to buy other than they are are "told" to buy buy by the US.

Look for interest rates in the US to further decline by 25 -50 basis ponts next week and another 1% (100 basis points) within 6 months.
