how to see new replies to my posts

how do i see the new replies to my posts?

I'm not sure, but somebody actually has to reply to your post to see it...? That's my understanding.

OK.....

Go to "My Settings"
Then "Edit Options"
Then "Messaging&Notification"
Then "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
Then check off "Instant email notification"

As soon as someone replys to your post, you will get an E-Mail telling you about it.

Or...if you don't want a mess of emails coming in...do not check the email option.

When you log on go to "My Settings" and then you can view your subscribed threads. If someone has answered you, it will be displayed there.

Chances are...if you haven't posted anything interesting, that there won't be any replies!

I just go to "new posts" and if there are responses to the threads I've posted to, they'll show up there. Also helps me keep on top of new threads as well.

This is the way I do it, and I do actually miss replies sometimes with the New Posts option, and I can comb through all the threads that I've started or replied to in "My Settings"... but, I'd prefer not to be mailed every time I get a reply to a thread I wrote/replied to, because I post here quite a bit... but, if you're waiting on a response to that new Kanji tattoo you're fancying, then maybe that option is for you.

Probably just a reference to the people who come here and say "how do you say 'love of a lifetime' in Japanese kanji? I need it for a tatoo," or something like that, and don't ever post anything else. (Is that the longest sentence fragment in history?)

What Glenn said, and, when I speak like that, I'm hoping (which is sheer idiocy on my part) that what I write might get read by someone else who has the same question... inevitably, the question will be asked a second, third, and fourth time, at which point I throw up my hands and yell "JUMANJI!" in the hopes that something will happen that will take me out of this world... in fact, nothing ever does happen, and I feel just as hopeless as before, and a little more frustrated.

also, why does something SOOOOOOOOOOO little as asking a question that has already been posted make you so angry? theres a whole world out there...
