Travel How much does sending a package out of Japan cost...?

Does somebody have some experience with sending a package from Japan to Europe or America..?
It really helps if you know how much it cost when you know (west)Europe version.
At this moment I'm talking about a big package of 30 KG.

It depends on which way you want to use. If you want to send your package by sea, it's gonna cost about 10.000 yen for about 15-20kg. If it's by air, it's gonna be 20.000-30.000 yen. I paid 8000 yen to send my 15kg package back to Vietnam, and it took nearly 2 months to receive.

Yeah it is extremely expensive. I think Japan is one of the most expensive places to send a package to and from, from Europe or America, at least. I sent a few packages to friends and it did cost A LOT of money. It's just very far away. I don't know about where you are from but it "Express" the slowest possible shipping?
Because I always ship my stuff at "standard". It can take a few weeks but heck it's so much cheaper.
You also need a customs form and all of that.
