please enlighten me. ..I went to tokyo last july 23 to attend an interview and luckily i got the job, what happened then? it is the first time the company is hiring overseas and they dont know anything about the working visa issue thing. they gave me a copy of the application form of the certificate of eligibility with the contract and other documents about the company, they were hoping that i could file the application form of my certificate of eligibility in my home country..of course through common sense i kept on thinking something is wrong along the way..so through research i learned that indeed the certificate should be applied in the immigration in tojyo. i was bound to go home the next day so i called up the company who is willing to sponsor me and ask them if they can file it for me (shouldnt they?) , right very then they told me that they were not so familiar with those paperworks (short way to say that i should file it myself).So..all alone by myself i found my way to the immigration bereau in tokyo and filed the application. the job starts on sept1 and now i am really anxious as when the certificate be released (I filed it july 26) i went home (since i only had a tourist visa) and decided to wait for it to be mailed to my employer who will inturn mail it to me so i can apply my working visa here in my home country.. my big questions are:1.)what is the possible earliest time for the certificate to be released? 2.)are there cases that the certificate of eligibility was not granted to the applicant?(why?) 3.) can immigration lawyers in japan help me with the early release of the certificate?(with favorable results of course)
i would really appreciate any suggestions and replies.
