How Design or Game Design is taught in Japan?

Hi guys, I'm new here
I wanna ask some question since I'm taking a scholarship to Japan soon, but I can't decide which subjects I'll choose.
My focus is on Designing, they also other option and I'm going to write Game Designing.
But mainly I wanna ask how Designing is taught in Japan?
also, is there any Game Design class in Japan that accept scholarship?
Sorry if my question confusing to you guys...
