Hi all, I really need some vital information about staying in Japan.
Next year (2008) I plan to stay in Japan for two weeks between late June to early August, if possible. The thing is I would like to stay with a Japanese family in Kyoto so that I can get a real taste of the culture and family life.
I'm not looking for a an exchange because I have nothing to offer a likemind Japanese student in my home town and wish to spare myself that embarresment (mildly selfish, I know).
My question is[/are] does anyone have any information pertaining to this for me or know where I can access this information (I have tried Google a lot)? Better yet, does anybody know of someone who would be happy to accomidate a serious student [of Japanese language]?
By the time I plan to stay I will be of 18 years of age.
