Hiya! Just thought I'll say hi and introduce myself.

I've been lurking on this forum for a while, and I thought I'd make an account. I'm JJEmpire64, though I mainly go by "JJ" or "JJE". I'm currently writing a book series, and my interest in Japan started just last year, when I decided that the protagonist should hail from Japan, and have part of the story happen in Japan, so I started doing research on Japan for that. I've learned quite a bit since then, by reading books and articles about Japan, but this place has been a really excellent source of information! It's a godsend to have so much information in one place. I also hope to go to Japan one day for some real field research, but also because I'm just interested to go there in general. So how are you all?
