I've been watching these forums for a little while since I found them interesting, and I've finally decided to take the big step and get registered! So I just thought I'd say hi to everyone, and tell you all a little bit about myself and my interest in Japan.

My interest in Japan started from (dubbed) anime. Soon enough, I was only watching anime in Japanese with subtitles, and I can't stand watching dubbed anymore. :joyful: I started becoming interested in the language, which led me to become interested in the country, its culture, and pretty much everything about it. And so, here I am now! I'm planning on going to Japan after I'm done university. Ah, I can't wait...

Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble on like that. Anyway, nice to meet you all!

P.S. Gotta love all these smilies!

Howdy there Kaitou, and welcome to the world wide gang!! I hope you can come and enjoy this country. If you come to see the mountains, please stop by place. I've got plenty of room for visitors.

I'm just starting to get used to using all these cute little guys.
