Hey, i and my wife will be having my holiday in tokyo area for 2 weeks end of december. currently looking for private room for weekly rental. We are in a tight budget so we are trying to get the cheapest one we can find. any help will be appreciated

thanks mate ... a friend of mine suggested Business Hotel around Otsuka .. she said theres one for a little 2000yen .. sounds dodgy but waiting for her reply nonetheless

A business hotel for 2000 yen? More than dodgy. They usually run a bit more than twice that. Besides, a business hotel room is for one person, and it is tiny with barely enough walking space between the bed and wall. Definitely not for couples.

We started our trip in Tokyo and stayed one night in a room in an apartment located in the Adachi-ku area.
We found it with 9flats:private rooms, holiday house, accommodations - 9flats.com. Quite central and not expensive..
