Hi all,

I am new with Japanese language and my vocab is very limited. Could someone help me to translate the following? It's for professional email.

Dear ____ san ,

Hajimemashite , watashi wa ___ desu ,

Before we quote you a price, we would appreciate it, if you could please let us know the quality of gloves and the specification you required.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,
_______

Help please? Thank you in advance !

Businesses asking us to translate their business correspondence for free....is that better or worse than the students who expect us to do their homework for them?

Well there Sir,

If you don't want to help, I have no problem with that. But, I'd appreciate it if you keep it to yourself, and mind your own business.

I actually wrote a long *** explanation why I wanted this to be translated, but then I thought, it'd be a waste of my time to explain to people like you.

I suppose you'd expect a payment to translate these few lines. I have nothing to offer but a sincere thank you if anyone could help. But if you expect some type of payment, then I am sorry for posting this here.

If you don't want to help, stay away, and keep your "opinion" to yourself.

Thank you.

Your company giving the gloves away for free? Or does it expect to get paid for them?

I'm personally enjoying the juxtaposition between "professional email" and "translated for free by random people on the internet". What are you going to do, make your potential customer wait every time they send a request for information until someone on the internet gets bored enough to provide you with a translation?

The cost of getting someone to translate something short like that is hardly going to break the bank. Try somewhere like gengo or similar websites.

Since this has to do with your business, I would suggest not to use a forum for this. This community is full of nice and helpful people, but it would be really unfortunate if you got a troll answering your post or someone just tossing your email into Google and saying it's correct.

I could understand if it were a charity. However, this sort of thing robs people of their livelihood and is totally immoral. If you are getting paid, they deserve to get paid as well. The "Help" portion of "Help Translation?" implies that you are attempting to understand and do it yourself. Therefore, this forum is for language learning, not leeching off of students.
