Hello, I came across this flag in southeastern South Dakota. I'm already convinced it's authentic, but I could be wrong. I was able to translate some writing using Google, but there is so much more that I can't. I have had some WW2 items in the past, but this I believe has the most significant historical value. Historical and sad because I am sure it was in battle and by looks of the stains, the outcome was not good. I would really like to find the owners name and anything else to help find the story
