Hello everyone, i am so glad i have come across this forum , i have been looking for one for such a long time. So, where do i start, firstly i think i shud start by introducing myself. My name is Alice, i'm 22 and i live in cardiff, wales, uk. i have recently just graduate3d from an Illustration degree. Illustration really is my passion and i love to create cute little characters from my imagination. My dream job would be to create my own children's book and branding to be put on clothing, bags etc. just like hello kitty!
My work is so heavily influenced by japanese art and japan as a whole, i have visted japan twice in the lat two yeras and i really fell in love with the place. i loved everything about it and i am just longing to go back, i only stayed for 6 weeks in total but i miss it so much and it is my ambitiob to live and be a designer there. i really want to make my wish come true one day.
its great that i have found this forum, now i can ask you guys for help and advice!

WOW you made a really interesting introduction! I really hope you can acomplish what you want. I also would love to go and live in Japan and be a doctor there ( Im taking japanese classes and in first year at medical school) anyways, welcome to the forum and I hope we can talk some time!

Warmly welcome. If you really want to get into the japanese society you need to know the language. In the beginning it is merely amazing to observe, but you will soon want to communicate more. Anyway basic conversation is quite easy and the pronounciation is rarely a problem. Reading and writing is more challenging!
