Hi everyone. I'm Akairyuu, I'm from Scotland with my mother (And only) tongue being English and I just joined this site today
I joined this forum because I have always had a real fascination for the Japanese culture, history, language and even the food, and I have very recently started to teach myself the language (I already knew bits and pieces before but now I'm learning properly). Although I only just started, I feel as though I'm starting to get the hang of the 'subject-direct subject-verb' sentence structure and I'm starting to use Kanji in some simple sentences rather than just using hiragana and katakana.
I'm hoping that by reading and writing posts on this website, it will help me improve and learn more about Japanese language and culture.
