Hi there!
I'm Gee, 18 years old, currently a university student in Hungary
I'm really interested in Japan and Japanese people, mainly because I heard many things that make feel like I would definitely enjoy living there... the whole lifestyle and mentality over there seems to suit me more than that of my country... heh. My main interests are history and foreign languages - accordingly, I enjoy Japanese history, but I don't know too much about it yet... I do enjoy Sengoku themed stuff, games like
Shogun 2 Total War, Sengoku Hime 3, Sengoku Musou 3 on PSP, or Paradox's Sengoku, and I really liked the movie "Goemon". I also like the Japanese language, but I only learned it alone, mostly in a passive way untill this september.
I really want to go to Japan and see with my own eyes whether all the good stuff I heard is true; that's one of the reasons why I applied for the Monbukagakusho Scholarship - but the waiting for the final results is killing me (>.<") But if everything goes well, I'll be in Tokyo or Osaka starting April
I also plan on writing a little diary-like book about the 5 years I would be spending there, in case I do get the scholarship; I already have a few pages about why I want to leave...
Another plan of mine is to work together with other scholarship recipents and do a little "youtube show" about life in Japan as foreign students, kind of like a Vblog with more people, because I was shocked by the lack of youtube videos about the MEXT program (especially the undergraduate program), and I could find only one video about the International Halls at the Tokyo University of Foreign Languages.
Eh, that was kinda long, but anyways, yoroshiku.
