After a few hours of searching for a place online to discuss my interest in Japan and all things Japanese, I have finally found somewhere!
It is so hard to filter through the nonsense websites and dating sites, just to find somewhere nice to visit!
But jref does seem to be the sort of place I could begin to frequently use How lucky are you guys!!
I hope everyone is doing well, I work as a computer technician with a network engineering background, so any computer problems that may crop up for people while I'm using the forums, I'll be happy to help.
I am currently studying the Japanese language, I've not been learning long, I'm just getting to grips with Hiragana. I would love to visit Japan, not only once, But I'd like to start visitting on a regular basis but before that I'd love to be pretty fluent in Japanese.
Anyways, feel free to chat with me and Message me.
I'm friendly enough

welcome here in JREF , I've problem in my desktop, when I format it or scan it by my anti virus , it shuts down by itself ... maybe I've to segment my Hard- Disk again ..
have a fun

Hi there iceman, Thank you for the welcome.

it does sound to me like you may have a hard drive fault, as when you scan or format both touch pretty much all sectors on your hard drive, and a fault on the drive can cause the computer to shutdown.

I would recommend you open My computer, Right click on the hard drive you're having trouble with and click properties, Go into tools and under the section that says Error-checking, click check now.
A little box will then pop up, put a tick in both:
Automatically fix file system errors
Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

Then click start. (Make sure all programs are closed, and the computer isn't used while the scan proceeds)

I hope this helps some

thank you very much , I try that but the problem that I fix my PC and it cost 7$ and that was a problem in my Hard Disk and some error in the motherboard in cables ... NOW it's so great ....

thank you very much my friend
