Hello all.

Helloo!

I'm a swedish student, at the age of 17. I am studying the civil engineer program and is currently living in Karlstad with my parents.
I also study Japanese in my school, after finishing my spanish class with flying colors I wanted to try something non-european and chose the Japanese language. (I also picked it because I like watching animes :3333)

I wish to learn more about living in Japan and also meet Japanese people. Is there any specialized forum around on the net? (Or sub-forum here?)

And I always wondered what the Japanese people think of europeans studying or living there? Europe isin't so very kind against foreigner as it used to be..

Also, what is the most pleasant city in Japan currently for young people/foreign students?

I remember taking Spanish in school, too. As well as French and Latin.
Unfortunately my school didn't offer any non-European languages at that time!

No, it's not my real name, but it's a personally related to me .


I don't think the study itself has changed, it has gotten better infact, but the hospitality has changed. If you remember Sweden (for example) in the 50's after the war, everyone wanted people to come. Nowadays there is just too much racism going on here. (For no reason also.) I don't know what about the USA and such, but I think Europe has changed.
