Hello All!

Hello everyone! My name is Stephen and I am new to this site and to this forum. I have always been interested in Japan and it`s history, people and culture, but up until now had limited my curiosity to peeking around the edges. Now I am ready to be more proactive about my interest, since I have some friends living there now. So consider me a newby at this but one who learns incredibly fast. Hope to hear from some of you who aren`t too hip to talk to the old man!
