It as taken me quite some time, but I finally am making a post! My name is Shelly and I am a 25 yr old mother of a rambunctious 5 year old who wants to work in an office with Gackt when he grows up. Needless to say our little family is quite enrapt with Japanese culture as a whole, and the more I discover the more it seems like I was born a few longitudes away from the right place. My interest in Japan began when I was young- - my father served in the US Air Force at Okinawa and told me a lot of stories about the beautiful areas away from base. Over the years my interest developed into a study of the lands, the history and the cultural mindsets that make for such a unique country. I love music, history and aesthetics as well as cheesy dramas. My blood type is O.. and I like to cook. I'm sure there is more but this is so AWKWARD!
