Basically, hello, I'm Jamal, I'm 17 and live in England. I've loved Japanese things since I was a young child, I love their culture, their food their language and more. I have been learning Japanese for just under a year now but I've never had a teacher and have never been to japan. I'm not very good at it just yet, but I'll keep learning and trying hard, I really enjoy it so I don't see myself giving up on it, I hope I never do!
I do Japanese calligraphy, I've never had a teacher, so I'm entirely self taught, so I probably do lots of things wrong, although I have read many articles and books on it, watched videos of people doing it and so on to pick up the correct techniques to the best of my ability. You can see examples of my work above in my Japanese intro.
