HD Camcorders

Hey guys,

So I'm thinking about buying an HD camcorder for when I study abroad. I'm looking for something within $200-$300. It doesn't have to be fancy, just reliable and capable of shooting HD (720p or higher). I'm always a little apprehensive buying hardware I know nothing about so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks.

HD camcorders are mainstream. Anything of a reputable brand will do you just fine if you're not a tech expert with extraordinary needs.
